Kathryn Haemmerle is a poet based in Massachusetts. She holds an MFA from the University of Oregon and has received support from the Sewanee Writers' Conference. Her chapbook was selected as a finalist for the 2020 Yemassee Chapbook Prize. She was also named a finalist for the Iron Horse Literary Review National Poetry Month contest and a semi-finalist for the 2021 92Y Discovery Contest, the Tupelo Quarterly 2019 Open Poetry Prize, and Nimrod International Journal of Prose & Poetry’s 2019 Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry. Her poems have appeared in The Common, Blackbird, Tupelo Quarterly, Iron Horse Literary Review, Hobart, Radar Poetry, Lake Effect, Nimrod International Journal of Prose & Poetry, and elsewhere.
